One single database

Seven areas that write into the same file

What makes an ERP is not the wealth of its modules, but the fact that they share the same data.

One entry, seven effects

The word “integrated” does not describe a wealth of features: it describes the fact that an entry made once holds good for every module.

What a single sale sets in motion

  • The sales document, from quote to payment
  • The stock, which falls by the same amount
  • The stock-out alert, when stock drops below its threshold
  • The accounting entry, drawn from the document and not retyped
  • Cash, which sees the payment on the day it comes in

None of these five lines is entered twice. That is the one thing an ERP promises, and it is the hardest thing to obtain with separate tools.

1 single platform brings the seven management areas together — that is what “integrated” means

The seven areas

  • Sales
  • Purchasing
  • Stock
  • Cash
  • Human resources
  • Production
  • Point of sale

Cash stops being a tab

What comes in and what goes out is read beside the documents that created it, not in a binder pieced together at month end.

Point of sale is not a separate system

The shop takes payment in the same platform that holds the sales and the stock.

What the company stops doing

  • Retyping an order into the invoicing software
  • Keeping stock in a parallel spreadsheet
  • Reconciling three files before knowing a balance
  • Waiting for the close to find out what the month produced

These are not organisational failings: they are the mechanical consequences of tools that do not share their data.

Stock is no longer a notebook

One single record, kept by sales, purchasing and production. There is no version of the stock that belongs to one department.

Tax compliance

A Tunisian invoice is not a generic invoice

Mandatory particulars, tax return statements and the chart of accounts cannot be patched up with an export.

An ERP bought elsewhere is made compliant after the fact: a module is added, a document template is adapted, a mapping table is maintained. Compliance becomes a layer laid over the product, and that layer lasts less long than the regulations.

Swifto ERP is developed in Tunisia, and Tunisian tax rules are built into three of its modules. This is not one more module: it is the same rule applied where the documents are produced.

Where the rule is applied

  • Invoicing — the documents produced carry the legal particulars required
  • Accounting — entries arise from the documents, not from a re-keying
  • Tax returns — the statements rest on the same entries
  • Publishing in Tunisia — the product is developed in the country whose rules it applies

SYMATIQUE puts it this way: Swifto ERP is developed in Tunisia and applies Tunisian tax rules in its invoicing, accounting and tax return modules; the documents it produces carry the legal particulars required by the regulations in force.

Functional coverage

Twelve modules, three moments in a day

They share the same data and are switched on as needed. None requires you to re-enter what the previous one has already written.

The twelve modules fall naturally into three moments: what brings the money in, what sends the goods out, and what keeps the house running. That is the order in which a mid-sized company's day unfolds.

The sales cycle 4

  • Customer relationship managementThe sales pipeline, visits and follow-ups, before the first invoice
  • Sales and invoicingFrom quote to payment: VAT, fiscal stamp duty and withholding tax included
  • Tills and point of saleThe shop writes into the same sales and the same stock as everything else
  • Door-to-door salesRounds, van stock and payment taken at the truck, offline then synchronised

Procurement and supply 3

  • Purchasing and suppliersWhat the company orders feeds straight into stock
  • Stock and inventoryMulti-warehouse, batches and expiry dates: one single record, kept by sales, purchasing and production
  • ProductionWhat the workshop consumes and produces is drawn from the same stock

What keeps the house running 5

  • Finance and cash managementWhat comes in and what goes out, beside the documents that created it
  • AccountingJournals, configurable taxes and supporting documents: your accountants work on the same entries
  • Human resources and payrollTunisian payroll — CNSS, IRPP, CSS —, leave, contracts and social security returns
  • DashboardsSales, stock, cash and human resources, without waiting for month end
  • Swifto AI assistantA question asked in French, the company's figures in reply

A word on the numbers: the software publisher announces “nine integrated business modules” in its key figures, and presents twelve on the product website. The gap comes down to what you count — a business module, a management tool, an assistant. We publish all twelve because they are named and described; the scope that concerns you is set in a demonstration, on your own processes.

The architecture

Seven areas, one database, three documents the law requires

Nothing travels from one module to another: it is all already in the same place.

Swifto ERP architecture The seven management areas named by the software publisher — sales, purchasing, stock, production, cash, human resources and point of sale — all rest on one single database. From that database come the three modules where Tunisian tax rules are built in: invoicing, accounting and tax returns. THE SEVEN NAMED AREAS Sales Purchasing Stock Production Cash Human resources Point of sale Swifto ERP — one single database Customers, suppliers, items and entries: entered once, read by all seven areas WHAT THE LAW REQUIRES Invoicing Accounting Tax returns Required legal particulars Entries drawn from the documents Drawn from the same entries

Seven areas and nine modules are announced by the software publisher; the three modules at the bottom are those the FAQ published on swifto.io names as carrying the Tunisian tax rules.

The software publisher

One product, one publisher, and the same team after go-live

An ERP is not a purchase, it is a dependency. Best to know on whom.

SYMATIQUE was founded in 2012. It is a software publisher specialising in information technology and business consulting, whose stated purpose is to support companies from the design through to the implementation of information systems.

The approach is set down in black and white: listen, advise, guide towards the solution that best fits the expectations, taking account of the client company's environment and its growth. For a mid-sized company hesitating between a product and a bespoke build, that is the first question to ask.

Swifto ERP does not stand alone. SYMATIQUE publishes four solutions that are designed and maintained in Tunis, and a single team rolls them out and keeps them running: consulting and audit, integration and interfacing, development of the missing module, training and support.

That is also why equipping a sales team does not force you to change your management system: the Smart SALES platform interfaces with the system already in place — Swifto ERP or another management system — and takes on what an ERP covers poorly: the field and mobility.

What people ask us before changing systems

These are two independent products, not two tiers of the same one. Swifto ERP is the ERP for mid-sized companies: sales, purchasing, stock, cash, human resources, production and point of sale. Smart SALES is the mobile sales force suite for groups and large companies, with its field applications. The two can coexist: the platform interfaces with the management system already in place, Swifto ERP included.

Yes. The product is developed in Tunisia and applies Tunisian tax rules in its invoicing, accounting and tax return modules. The documents it produces carry the legal particulars required by the regulations in force.

No. Swifto ERP is a SaaS ERP: it is used from the web, with no server to host in-house and no workstation to prepare. That is what lets a mid-sized company start without an infrastructure project first.

The software publisher states that most mid-sized companies go live within days: because Swifto ERP is an online solution, there is no infrastructure to install, the configuration is guided and existing data can be migrated. The exact duration depends on the scope agreed; the detailed schedule is set at the end of the design phase, before any commitment.

No. The software publisher writes “switch on the modules you need; they share the same data and grow with your business”. Nine business modules are announced, twelve are presented on the product website — from invoicing to payroll, from point of sale to door-to-door sales. The exact scope is set in a demonstration, on your own processes.
