Scope

What this document covers

SYMATIQUE publishes business software — enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, merchandising — and the mobile applications that go with them. It attaches importance to the privacy of the personal data of those who use them.

This policy describes how that data is collected, used and disclosed, both when you browse this site and when you use our services.

The two situations are very different: they are therefore dealt with separately. Chapter 03 covers this site. Chapter 04 covers our applications.

The Smart SALES suite, Swifto ERP, Follow ME and Renoutet.

The site

What this site collects

This site is a showcase site. The only place where you send us information is the contact form.

The contact form

It collects:

  • Your first name and surnameSo that we know who we are replying to
  • Your companyTo place the enquiry in context
  • Your email addressThis is how the reply reaches you
  • Your telephone number — optionalThe field may be left empty: the form is sent all the same
  • The text of your enquiryWhat you are trying to do, in your own words
  • A few optional detailsDepending on the form used: your job title, the subject of the enquiry, the solution concerned, the size of the team

This information is used to answer your enquiry. That is its only purpose. Chapter 05 states who, outside SYMATIQUE, may be given access to it.

The processing is based on SYMATIQUE's legitimate interest in answering the enquiries addressed to it and in keeping track of those exchanges or, where the enquiry concerns the supply of a product or a service, on the pre-contractual steps taken at the request of the data subject.

Messages sent through the forms are accessible only to those internal SYMATIQUE departments authorised to handle enquiries. They may also be passed to technical service providers involved in the routing, hosting or maintenance of the messaging and form services, in compliance with the applicable obligations on the protection of personal data.

The anti-bot check

To prevent messages being sent automatically, the forms on this site use the Google reCAPTCHA v3 service, provided by Google Ireland Limited. When you open a page containing a form, your browser loads a script from the domains www.google.com and www.gstatic.com. This service receives your IP address, technical signals about your browser and your device, and information about the way in which you interact with the page. From this it derives a likelihood score, which our server uses to accept or reject the submission.

The sole purpose of this processing is the security of the form, and the score calculated is used for no other purpose. It is based on the legitimate interest of SYMATIQUE in protecting its means of contact against automated submissions. This service places a cookie on your browser: unlike the other resources on this site, it is a third-party resource. The data transmitted may be processed outside the European Union, including in the United States; Google publishes its own commitments and safeguards regarding international transfers.

Use of this service is governed by Google's privacy policy and terms of service. If you would rather not use it, you can contact us directly by email or by telephone: the details are given on the Contact page, and no anti-bot check then applies.

Cookies and trackers

SYMATIQUE places no advertising trackers, builds no profile for advertising purposes and does not track you from one site to another. No web analytics are in place. The only resources called from a third party are those of the anti-bot check described above, and only on the pages that carry a form. That service, provided by Google, places a cookie of its own on that occasion: it is necessary for the check to work and is not used by SYMATIQUE for any other purpose. Pages without a form call no third-party resource and place no cookie.

The site may be subject to technical connection logs generated automatically by the hosting provider, in particular for security, diagnostic and service-continuity purposes. These logs may contain the IP address, the date and time of connection, the browser type and technical information relating to the connection. They are kept for a limited period, in accordance with the applicable legal obligations and the hosting provider's own retention policies.

The applications

What our applications collect

When you use our service, we may ask you to provide certain information that makes it possible to identify you personally.

  • Identity and contactYour name, your email address
  • Your photographsWhere the feature used requires one
  • Your GPS coordinatesFor the features that depend on your location

Log data is collected each time you use the service. It is used to analyse how the service is used and to resolve errors.

Our applications (Smart SALES, Swifto ERP, Follow ME and Renoutet) may use third-party technical services necessary for them to work, in particular for hosting, geolocation, notifications, synchronisation and service security, in compliance with the applicable personal data protection regulations.

Security

How this data is protected

We undertake to protect your personal data and to use commercially acceptable means to do so.

No method of transmission over the internet and no means of electronic storage is entirely secure, however. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security, and we would rather write that down than let you believe otherwise.

SYMATIQUE implements appropriate technical and organisational measures, in particular the encryption of communications, the control and management of access to data and systems, and backup and restoration mechanisms, in order to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data.

In the event of a personal data breach, SYMATIQUE applies an internal incident management procedure in order to assess the nature and severity of the breach and takes, where the applicable regulations so require, the measures needed to notify the competent supervisory authority and, where appropriate, to inform the data subjects within the time limits laid down by those regulations.
