No one is watching your cold rooms at three in the morning
Renoutet monitors your cold chain remotely: temperature, humidity, thresholds, alerts and traceability, twenty-four hours a day. A breach triggers an immediate alert, and the history stays online for your audits.

The incident happened at three, it is found at seven
Between the last round of the evening and the first of the morning, a cold room has no witness.
The reading is taken by hand, on a sheet of paper hung on the door, once or twice a day. It gives the value at the moment when someone walked past — never that of the fifteen hours during which nobody walked past at all.
And that is where everything is decided. A compressor that fails at three in the morning, a door left ajar after the last loading, a defrost cycle that never restarts: by morning the goods have already spent the night out of range, and nothing can say for how long, nor up to what temperature.
Renoutet moves the reading to where it should always have been: inside the room, continuously, without anyone having to walk over and write it down.
From the probe to the audit binder, without a single rekeying
Five stages, and one single human intervention along the whole path: the one that follows the alert.
Six quantities per room, and not one box to fill in
Temperature, humidity, door, icing, defrosting, fan: the probe reads, the screen displays, the curve keeps.

The probe also says how it is doing
- The GPRS signal level
- The number of satellites seen
- The transmitter voltage, in volts
A missing measurement becomes information, and not a blank in the curve.
Room by room
Every room is declared with its own settings. You pick one, you read it, you compare it with the others.
Zoom to 1 h, 3 h, 6 h, or all of it
The same day can be reread at four scales. A spike of a few minutes does not vanish into the daily average.
What the curve keeps
- The temperature, read continuously
- The humidity, on the same time scale
- Door openings, placed at their exact time on the trace
- The icing and defrosting cycles
- The exact duration of every breach
The goods, not just the room
Fresh produce, dairy products, meats and seafood, frozen and packaged foods: what the platform watches is the condition of the goods during their stay in the cold room. The room itself is only the place where they wait.
A threshold is not a setting, it is a decision
Measuring is useless if nobody is told. It is the threshold that turns a curve into a warning.
Every room has its own limits: a frozen-food warehouse and a fresh-fruit room do not tolerate the same swings. The threshold is therefore declared room by room, with its own settings, and not once for the whole site.
The alert counter sits at the top of every screen, to the left of the banner: you read how many there are before you have even picked a room. What comes next is not an acknowledgement of receipt, it is an intervention — and it has its own entry in the menu, so that what was done stays written down somewhere.
What the alert sets in motion
- The crossing — the value leaves the range declared for that room
- The warning — immediate, with no waiting for the next reading
- The intervention — recorded in the platform, along with everything else
- The trace — the episode stays on the curve, with its time and its duration
The auditor does not want your word, he wants the document
Three frequencies, three families of report, and one export button. That is what separates good practice from proof.
The daily report fits in one table: one row per day and per room, with the minimum, the maximum and the average of the temperature and of the humidity, the number of breaches for each quantity, and their total. You look up a date, a room or a company there without opening a ring binder.
Above the table, three families: the quality control report, the energy report and the alerts report. The first answers the auditor, the second the finance department, the third maintenance. Each one goes out as a PDF exactly as displayed.
- 3reporting frequencies: daily, weekly, monthly
- 2quantities summarised per row: temperature and humidity, each with its minimum, its maximum and its average
- 1export: the report goes out as a PDF exactly as it is read on screen

Twelve entries, three domains
What you monitor, what you issue, what you administer. Nothing else is named on screen, and nothing else is published here.
The Renoutet menu fits in one column and can be read in full without scrolling. That is a sign: a monitoring platform has no business doing anything other than monitoring, issuing reports and being configured.

These twelve entries are the ones in the platform menu, taken from version 2.0.1. What this page claims, the demonstration must be able to show.
Renoutet asks nothing of your management system
It is a standalone product, of the same rank as our other solutions. It adds on to nothing and replaces nothing.
Before the first measurement, three things have to be declared: the cold rooms and their settings, the GPRS transmitters that will send the data out of the site, and the users allowed to read it. That is all the installation asks for.
The organisation can be multi-site: the estate is broken down by city and by country, and every report row carries the name of the company concerned. A group can therefore watch several sites from a single sign-in.
Renoutet observes the equipment, it does not drive it. The screen gives the state of the door, the icing, the defrosting and the fan — it is a reading, not a command. Your refrigeration equipment stays as it is, and so do your quality procedures: the platform gives them the document they were missing.
It is consulted from a browser, with nothing to install on the workstation. Billing for the service is handled inside the platform itself.
What people ask us before the first room is fitted
No. Renoutet monitors the equipment already in place. It reads the temperature, the humidity, the state of the door, the icing, the defrosting and the fan, and it keeps the record. It is an observation system, not a control system: your refrigeration equipment is not modified.
Through a GPRS transmitter, declared and tracked in the platform. The screen for the room also shows the state of that transmitter — signal level, number of satellites, voltage — so that a weakening transmission is seen before it becomes a gap in the curve.
Up to twelve months of data online: that is the figure published by SYMATIQUE. The daily, weekly and monthly reports export to PDF exactly as they are displayed: that is the document a food safety audit asks for.
No, and we prefer to write it down. SYMATIQUE announces up to 40% of total energy consumption: that is a software publisher's target, not a figure measured at a customer site. What the platform supplies is the data that lets you go after it — icing and defrosting cycles, door openings, breach durations, and an energy report. The values themselves will be those of your own rooms.
For growers, producers, processors, cooperatives, distributors, retailers, restaurants and food service providers — everyone whose goods wait in the cold. Fresh produce, dairy products, meats and seafood, frozen and packaged foods: the monitoring covers temperature, humidity and the icing and defrosting cycle during storage.
A night in a cold room replayed with your thresholds
One room, one threshold crossed, one alert, and the audit report printed in front of you. Forty-five minutes, no commitment.
- A demonstration on your own rooms, your thresholds and your tolerance ranges
- A technical contact, not a salesperson
- A reply within one working day
- Your data is used only to reply to you
